IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!

We went to the Dr yesterday and we are having a GIRL!!! Her name is going to be Karly Michelle.
We finally found a name that we both love! We were both shocked that it was a girl because this whole time I have thought that it was a boy! I am SUPER excited about it though!! Girl stuff is sooooo cute and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color pink!! Although Bret and my sister would rather me get away from the pink a little bit, probably not going to happen!!! LOL
The Dr visit went very well! We had the ultrasound first, and of course were told we were having a girl. Everything measured the way it was suppose to! She weighs about 8 ounces (the weight of a block of cream cheese!!) I did NOT gain any weight!! So apparently the walking that I am doing is helping! I have been walking close to 2 miles on the days it is not freezing or raining... and those you know sometimes are few and far between!!
I have started feeling her! It is awesome! I feel her more and more everyday! I cannot wait for Bret to be able to feel it! It is the best feeling ever!
As fir now everything is good! I will keep the updates coming! We go back to the Dr. April 21!!

Movement!!!

Well this morning I finally felt the baby move. It was the craziest thing! I new what it was as soon as it happened though because I have never felt anything like tht before! I was soo excited! I am ready to feel it all the time though! I am even more ready for Bret to be able to feel it! I know that will be so exciting to him!
Not much has been going on other than that! We are looking forward to next Wed when we go back to the Dr to find out for sure what we are having... I can hardly wait!! I will let everyone know ASAP!! Our appointment is at 10:30 so shortly after that we should know something!

Check Up

I just got back from the Dr and everything went good! The heart beat is strong and he said we were doing great! Although I did gain 3 pounds.... he did not say anything about it though!! I got all of my blood work done, I got the H1N1 vaccine and that was about it! He told me that he would see me in 3 weeks to find out what we are having!! Our appointment is March 23, at 9:30. So we should know then what we are having!!! I am sooo ready!! I am sure that this is going to be a LONG 3 weeks, but maybe I can find something to keep myself busy!! So that is it for now!! I hope everyone has a good week!!

A little scare

Well I had a little scare this past Sunday. I say scare... apparently it is very normal during pregnancy, but this being my first, it is all new to me. I went to Auburn for the weekend, and on Sunday when I got up to come home, my right hip was hurting. I did not think all that much about it then because I have had problems with my right hip alot. But through the day it got worse, and by that afternoon I could barely walk. I was in terrible pain. And on top of that I was getting these kind of crazy dull pains in my lower abdomen on my right side. So Monday when I got up, my hip was a little better, but still not good. I was still in a lot pf pain walking. I called the Dr monday morning. They told me that it was the baby sitting on my nerve and that would cause terrible pain like that, and the next few days would be sore. The pain in my abdomen is ligament pain. They pretty much told me that I would probably have all of this from now on. I did not think that the baby was big enough yet to make me hurt like that, but I guess I was wrong. The Dr did tell me that I would probably have more of the hurting in my hip and leg, the baby gets positioned just right, and there is nothing that I can do about it. I just hope he/she does not do that to often because that was not fun at all! But I know that it will all be worth it in the end!
We go back to the Dr tomorrow for lab work, and we have 3 more weeks until we find out what it is (I still think it is a boy!!) I will let everyone know how it goes!!
Hopefully there will be no more scares!!
